Uzbekistan judo team wins three medals in Baku
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan judo team claimed a silver and two bronze medals at international tournament in Grand-Prix series in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Over 100 athletes from 15 countries participated at the international tournament, which was organized under aegis of the International Judo Federation.
In the 73 kg weight category Mirali Sharipov won the second place, losing to Azerbaijan’s Rustam Orujov in final bout. Sherali Juraev (90 kg) and Gulnoza Matizyozova won bronze medals.
