Uzbekistan, IsDB Discuss Agricultural Mechanization

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture under the leadership of ministerial adviser Nuridin Koshnazarov with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank.

The discussions were attended by the bank’s Operations Manager Ilker Ersegun Kayhan and its representative in Uzbekistan Husan Hasanov.

The parties reviewed issues related to the prompt approval of the “Development of Agricultural Mechanization in Uzbekistan” project with the participation of the Islamic Development Bank, strengthening the country’s agricultural machinery base, and preparing concrete proposals for the implementation of STI and Reverse Linkage programs in Uzbekistan.

They also exchanged views on prospects for expanding cooperation and accelerating the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing the technical and institutional capacity of Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.
