Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is interested in purchasing training-combat aircrafts Yak-130, Rusian newspaper Kommersant reported.
The publication noted that Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation are holding negotiations, which are still in the initial stage.
The Yak-130 is a Russian combat training aircraft developed by the Yakovlev Design Bureau in cooperation with the Italian Aermacchi. It is equipped with a modern complex of guided and unguided weapons.
Yak-130 is designed for training and combat training of pilots for aircraft of the generations 4+ and 5. He is able to perform the tasks of a light attack aircraft - to destroy individual ground objects and low-speed air targets.
