According to UzA, sumalak will be cooked in the Park named after Babur in Namangan within the framework of the Festival of tourism and national values “Sumalak Sayli”.

For preparation of sumalak, 2 tonnes of wheat, 2 tonnes of flour, 1 tonnes of oil, 450 kg of corn flour and 50 kg of navvat will be used.

Sumalak will be cooked in the cauldron, which was used to cook seven tonnes of pilaf in 2017. Sumalak will be prepared on the initiative of Namangan city hokimiyat.

Sumalak will be shared with homes of the elderly and Mehribonlik, as well as low-income families.
