Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan produced 168,710 passenger cars in January-July 2020, which is 14.26% higher compared to the same period of 2019.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, in January-July 2020, 2,169 trucks were produced in Uzbekistan (compared to the corresponding period of 2019, the volume of production decreased by 27.3%). In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in June, amounting to 389 units.

In the automotive industry in January-July 2020, 41,663 Nexia cars were produced (-3.4%), 44,901 - Cobalt (+49.7%), 30,368 -  Gentra (+24.5%), 30,889 - Damas (+11.7%), 16,370 - Spark (+38.9%) and 4,520 - Labo (+1.9%).

In January-July 2020, 137,200 units of automotive engines were produced (an increase of 19.8% over the corresponding period of 2019). In 2020, the largest volume of production of these products was noted in July, amounting to 24,100.

In January-July 2020, 630 tractors were produced in the republic (by January-July 2019, production growth decreased by 21.0%). The largest volume of tractor production was recorded in April 2020, amounting to 234 units.
