Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan increased electricity generation by 3.6% in January-August 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.

In the reporting period, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country’s enterprises generated more than 41.9 billion kWh of electricity.

Also, in January-August, about 17.53 million Gcal of heat energy was produced in Uzbekistan, which is 1.42% less compared to the same period of 2019.
