Uzbekistan imports wood and wood products from 50 foreign countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan imported wood and wood products from 50 foreign countries in the amount of US$566.8 million in 2020, the State Committee on Statistics said. This is US$45.1 million less than in 2019.

Countries with the largest share of imported wood and wood products in the last 12 months:

Russia – US$520.0 million

China – US$18.8 million

Turkey – US$6.5 million

Belarus – US$4.2 million

Italy – US$2.8 million

Kyrgyz Republic – US$2.8 million

Ukraine – US$2.6 million

Kazakhstan – US$2.6 million

Korea – US$1.7 million

Germany – US$1.1 million
