Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 9 months of 2020, Uzbekistan imported 82 electric vehicles from abroad. This figure is 59 units more compared to the same period of last year. In September, Uzbekistan purchased 9 electric vehicles from abroad, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

About 52 electric vehicles from China, 12 from the Republic of Korea and 17 electric vehicles from Germany, the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Federation and Georgia were imported this year, according to the State Statistics Committee.

For information, US$2.1 million was spent this year on imported electric vehicles.
