Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 September, 230,600 TV sets and parts for them were imported to Uzbekistan for a total of US$5.3 million.

Compared to the same period of last year, this year imported TV sets and components for them by US$2.8 million less.

According to the State Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan imported TVs and components from 26 countries. Among the countries with the largest volume of imports are China (3.2 million), Korea (820 thousand), Kazakhstan (435.6 thousand) and Germany with 87 thousand US dollars.

According to the information, in 2019, the country produced 951,000 TV sets worth 946.3 billion soums.
