Uzbekistan implements projects on developing waste management system

According to the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan, in order to improve system of solid waste collection, improve epidemiologic state in Tashkent, an investment project on modernization of infrastructure of waste processing started. The project is implemented due to loan of the Asian Development Bank.

Uzbekistan also works on attracting loan of the French Development Agency to improve system of sanitary cleaning historic and spiritual centers of Samarkand city. Currently, the sides are agreeing main technical parameters of the project.

Implementation of these projects will improve system of waste collection, its storage, processing, equipment of waste collecting enterprises with modern transport vehicles, etc.
