Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan extended restrictions on international air traffic with 7 countries of the world. This decision was made by the Special Republican Commission for Combating Coronavirus, taking into account the persistence of a difficult epidemiological situation in these countries.

Uzbekistan imposed a restriction on flights with these countries and Germany on 21 December 2020 due to the detection of a new COVID-19 strain in these countries.
Citizens of these countries and stateless persons permanently residing in these states, as well as citizens of third countries who have visited these states within the last 14 days, are prohibited from entering Uzbekistan during the period of the restriction.
