Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During the eleven months of this year, more than 2,674 tons of paints and varnishes in the amount of US$1.35 million were registered in the customs export regime in Uzbekistan.
This year, compared to the same period in 2019, 772 tons of paints and varnishes were exported from our country more.
The country’s foreign exchange earnings from the export of paints and varnishes increased by US$321,000 (31%) compared to the same period of last year.
According to the State Customs Committee, 36% of the total production was exported to Turkmenistan, 30% to Kazakhstan and 21% to Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, the export of products to Tajikistan has doubled this year.
Starting this year, paints and varnishes have been exported for the first time to the USA, Russia and Afghanistan.
