Uzbekistan exports gold for US$3.3 billion in January-July.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-July 2020, Uzbekistan exported gold worth about US$3.3 billion, according to the State Statistics Committee.

According to the committee, gold exports decreased by 4.7% compared to January-July 2019. The share of gold in the structure of Uzbekistan’s exports in January-July 2020 made up 39.8%.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased its gold exports in recent years. The volume of gold exports in 2015 exceeded US$823.9 million, in 2016 - US$738.2 million, in 2017 - US$1.6 billion and in 2018 - US$2.91 billion and in 2019 - US$4.92 billion
