Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 November 2020, Uzbekistan exported furniture products worth US$2.6 million to 16 foreign countries.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, this figure is US$1.1 million more compared to the corresponding period last year.

Over the past 10 months, Uzbekistan exported furniture products worth US$1 million to Kazakhstan, US$778,300 to Kyrgyzstan, US$389,500 to Tajikistan, US$160,800 to Russia and US$116,000 to Singapore.

Tashkent exported furniture products worth US$942,600, Tashkent region - US$777,600, Andijan region - US$337,100 and Namangan region - US$138,900.

As of 1 November 2020, Uzbekistan imported furniture products from Italy in the amount of US$1.9 million, which is US$1.2 million less compared to the corresponding period last year.

Uzbekistan imported furniture products from 52 foreign countries worth US$71.4 million, which is US$8.6 million more than in the same period of last year.

In particular, Uzbekistan imported furniture products worth US$33.1 million from South Korea, US$11.4 million from China, US$9.6 million from Turkey, US$4.9 million from Russia, US$2.1 million from Ukraine and US$1.9 million from Italy.

Tashkent imported furniture worth US$33.2 million, Andijan region - US$32.1 million, Tashkent region - US$2.5 million and Samarkand region - US$1.7 million.
