Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan exported 13,310 cars in January-October 2020 worth US$127.2 million, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reported.

According to the committee, car exports increased by US$50.9 million, or 66.8%, compared to the same period of 2019.

Uzbekistan exported 11,048 vehicles to Kazakhstan worth US$109.8 million.

The volume of car exports to Ukraine amounted to US$6.4 million, to Azerbaijan - US$6.2 million, to Russia - US$2.2 million, to Tajikistan - US$1.2 million and to other countries - US$1.4 million.

At the same time, in January-October 2020, 22,228 cars worth US$392.8 million were imported to Uzbekistan.

At the same time, for 10 months of 2020, Uzbekistan imported 87 electric vehicles, which is 58 units more compared to the same period of 2019. Five cars were imported in October.

In particular, 54 electric vehicles were imported from China, 12 electric vehicles from the Republic of Korea, and 7 electric vehicles from Georgia. 14 electric vehicles were brought from Germany, USA, UAE, Russia and Czech Republic.

The total volume of imported electric vehicles this year was US$2.2 million.
