Uzbekistan exports 31,000 tonnes of fruits, vegetables in Jan

The hard currency revenue from exports fruits, vegetables, melons and beans made up US$42.591 million in January 2017, which rose twice compared to the same period of 2016.

Uzbekistan mainly exported fresh and processed grape, pomegranate, lemon, persimmon, apple, greens, cabbage, carrot, cucumber, tomato, beetroot, radishes, turnips, peanuts, mung bean, and others.

Uzbekistan increased exports of fruits and vegetables due to implementation of the agreements, signed within the International Fruits and Vegetables Fairs in June and November 2016.
