Uzbekistan Explores Digitalization of Gas Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Tashkent with representatives of Eysasoft Holding Ltd and Marufkhon Khodjaev, Chairman of the Board of Hududgazta’minot, to discuss the digitalization of Uzbekistan’s gas sector.

The participants reviewed plans for modernization of gas supply, including process automation, digitalization, and broad implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.

Special attention was given to the effective use of innovative solutions and improving management of the gas distribution network.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of creating a national Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) using smart gas meters and network measurement devices.

The implementation of this system is expected to reduce gas losses and increase accuracy in consumption measurement.
