Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the end of the year, it is planned to launch 77 wells in Uzbekistan, overhaul 171 wells, build and start operating compressor stations at the Uchkir, Zevarda, Alan fields, increase natural gas production to 34.6 billion cubic meters.

This was noted at the video conference, which was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" Mehriddin Abdullayev.

At the meeting, the work done in the industry for 9 months of this year was critically analyzed, and tasks were determined to increase the production of natural gas and supply it to the domestic market.

The deputy chairman of the board and members of the board of directors received a warning for the decline in natural gas production in August and September.

The tasks were set by the end of this year to complete the construction of 35 prospecting and exploration wells, as well as to increase the reserves of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons by 20 billion cubic meters and 620,000 tonnes, respectively.
