Uzbekistan develops draft “On public procurement”

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the draft law is developed based on recommendations and proposals of the international expert, who was attracted to review the draft law.

The draft law is directed at further improving quality of public procurement, controlling execution of contracts, preventing corruption, improving transparency of procurement.

The ministry said that almost each week the working group is meeting to discuss development of the draft law and incorporation of proposals and remarks.
