Uzbekistan Consulate in Aktau: No Casualties in Road Accident near Aktobe
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Aktau released information regarding a road traffic accident that occurred on November 30 in Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan.
According to competent authorities, at 21:00 on the republican highway “Russian Federation – Aktobe – Kyzylorda – Almaty,” a traffic accident involved a VanHool passenger bus with license plate 774BOT13, traveling on the “Moscow – Tashkent” route.
At the time of the incident, 54 Uzbek citizens were on board. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.
All passengers were temporarily accommodated by emergency services and local police in the mosque of Karabutok village, Aytekebiy District, Aktobe Region. They were provided with food and necessary assistance.
Measures are currently being taken to promptly transport the passengers back to Uzbekistan on another bus.
The situation remains under full control of the Embassy and Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, with ongoing coordination maintained with the relevant Kazakh authorities.
