Uzbekistan, China sign several important agreements
Shavkat Mirziyoyev is currently paying three-day state visit to China.
During the talks, the sides noted that the rise of mutually beneficial cooperation to a new stage, the commonality or similarity of the positions of the two states on issues of regional and international character are important.
After the meeting of the two presidents with the participation of official delegations, the signing ceremony of the agreements took place, UzA reports.
Following the talks, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Xi Jinping signed a Joint Declaration between Uzbekistan and China.
Uzbekistan and China signed inter-governmental agreements on technical cooperation, international automobile communication, exchange notes on financing projects on improving quality of education at general schools, equipment of healthcare with modern equipment.
The sides also inked memorandum of understanding on veterinary and plant inspection quarantine, memorandum of understanding on stimulating cooperation between small business and private entrepreneurs, and a plan for cooperation in interagency exchange in the sphere of agriculture for 2018-2020.
