Uzbekistan and Ukraine intend to establish long-term cooperation in the field of industry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Kurmanov at the Embassy met with a prominent industrialist of Ukraine, former Prime Minister, and now President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh, Dunyo news agency reported.

Today the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is a large public structure, uniting representatives of large, medium and small businesses.

The Union cooperates with more than 100 civil society organizations and industry associations, as well as the World Bank, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the United Nations Global Compact, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Development Program, International Monetary Fund and other structures.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of industrial cooperation between the two countries, creating favorable conditions for doing business, entrepreneurs’ access to financial resources, ways to protect business from the influence of various negative factors.

One of the important results of the meeting was an agreement on the formation of a joint "Road Map" to establish long-term cooperation between the industrial sectors of the two countries.
