Uzbekistan and Tajikistan conduct field survey of selected sections of the border

Topographical working groups of government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik State Border held a five-day meeting.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the meeting took place in Gulistan of Sogd region of Tajikistan.
The delegations of the two countries discussed the passage of the border line on the remaining sections, and conducted field surveys of certain sections of the border.
Topographical working groups described 4 sections of the border. Following the negotiations, the Protocol was signed.
