Uzbekistan and South Korea Launch Joint Digital Trade Platform Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 February, a working meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the participation of Changhyun Lee, Director of the Korean company MEDIWIX, dedicated to the implementation of a joint digital trade platform project.

As a reminder, in September 2025, with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and MEDIWIX to create an online trade platform.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the organizational and technical issues arising during the development and implementation of the project.

Particular attention was given to the integration of MES digital production management systems with the SAP corporate system, which covers finance, warehouse management, logistics, and enterprise accounting. For Uzbek companies that already use MES systems, the adaptation of SAP will be carried out on a grant basis, with all costs covered by the Korean side.

Following the meeting, Uzbek manufacturing companies “Texno Cabel” and “Krember” were invited to participate in the practical implementation of the project, becoming the first participants of the joint digital platform.
