Uzbekistan and South Korea Discuss Cosmetics Industry Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 8 April 2026, the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Azizov, held a meeting with representatives of the South Korean organization "U&K GLOBAL NETWORK."

During the meeting, Abdulla Azizov provided a detailed overview of the current state of the cosmetics industry in the country, its development potential, as well as ongoing reforms and opportunities created for investors.

Representatives of the South Korean side noted that they view Uzbekistan as a promising location for establishing a cluster for the production of cosmetic products. They also expressed interest in further studying investment opportunities and the conditions of the local market.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to expand cooperation in the implementation of investment projects within the cosmetics industry and to maintain an active dialogue regarding this direction.
