Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia sign agreement on Umrah pilgrimage

During the visit, the meeting with the management of Committee on religious affairs and Uzbekistan Muslims Board was held. The sides discussed organization of Umrah pilgrimage in sprint season and Ramadan period in 2015 in Mecca and Medina and signed a corresponding agreement.

The agreement determines number of pilgrims and services, which will be provided to Uzbek citizens in Saudi Arabia.

The Uzbek pilgrims will live in Nama Mavadda hotel in Mecca and Anjniha at-Tayyib in Media during the Umrah pilgrimage.

The sides also determined the first day of departure of pilgrims from Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia. The first group of pilgrims will fly to Saudi Arabia on 9 February 2015.
