Uzbekistan and Poland Discuss Deepening Economic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek Ambassador Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev held a meeting with Michal Jaros, Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology and Co-Chair of the Uzbekistan-Poland Intergovernmental Commission.
The discussions focused on the current state and prospects for deepening trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
Special attention was given to expanding industrial cooperation, establishing high value-added production, and implementing joint projects in transport, logistics, and infrastructure sectors.
The parties emphasized the importance of thorough preparation for upcoming high-level visits to ensure practical results and increase bilateral trade turnover. Measures to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship, remove trade barriers, and address transport and logistics challenges were also discussed.
It was noted that the opening of a representative office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Tashkent would strengthen institutional ties, activate direct dialogue between business communities, and facilitate the promotion of new investment projects.
Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation and elevate Uzbekistan–Poland economic relations to a new level.
