Uzbekistan and Pakistan Discuss Development of Cooperation in Education, Science, and Culture
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloyev, held a working meeting in Islamabad with Tariq Fatemi, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Foreign Affairs.
During the talks, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations, prospects for their development, and ways to deepen cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture.
The Special Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan highlighted Uzbekistan’s historical significance in the region and its rich cultural heritage, particularly emphasizing the contributions of Tashkent and Samarkand to global civilization.
The dialogue also included a detailed review of the plan for visits at various levels and the organization of joint events scheduled for the current year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to develop and implement new practical initiatives aimed at further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
