Uzbekistan and Oman Agree to Cooperate in Space Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and Oman have reached an agreement to collaborate in the space sector, the Uzcosmos agency reported Monday.

Uzbek space officials held talks at Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology and met with companies including OmanLens and Mars Development and Investments.

Discussions focused on potential joint investment projects, development of small artificial satellites, establishment of laboratories and ground stations, remote Earth sensing, and implementation of educational programs.
