Uzbekistan and Lithuania discuss prospects for trade and economic cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Uzbekistan with a residence in Moscow Remigijus Motuzas.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
In order to study the issues of increasing mutual trade, the parties agreed to consider the possibility of holding the fifth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in 2018 in Tashkent.
The sides also discussed the issue of organizing a visit of the Lithuanian Foreign Minister to Uzbekistan in May 2018.
