Uzbekistan and Kuwait Foreign Ministers Discuss Middle East Situation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1 March, Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah.

The ministers exchanged views on developments in the Middle East. In light of current events, Minister Saidov conveyed, on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, sincere condolences to the leadership and people of Kuwait.

During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of respecting state sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the need to resolve all emerging issues solely through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means, in full accordance with international law.
