Uzbekistan and Jordan Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional De-escalation by Phone

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 1 March, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister for Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The two sides exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East and its impact on regional stability and security. During the conversation, Minister Saidov conveyed sincere words of support and solidarity from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the leadership and people of Jordan.

Special attention was given to the need to address all emerging challenges solely through peaceful, political, and diplomatic means, in full compliance with international law.
