Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) are set to expand collaboration in the field of education following high-level talks held on 1 April.

The discussions also focused on further strengthening cooperation and improving its effectiveness. Special attention was given to the implementation of the “Advanced STEM Human Resources Development Project,” aimed at training highly qualified specialists in advanced engineering and technological fields. Key objectives, tasks, and implementation mechanisms of the project were reviewed in detail.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in expanding partnership, deepening knowledge exchange, and launching new joint educational and research initiatives.
