Uzbekistan and Germany Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
The meeting featured a comprehensive discussion on expanding strategic partnership between the two countries. The focus was on deepening bilateral cooperation in key areas, including trade, energy, and regional stability.
Particular attention was given to upcoming summits and strengthening economic ties through initiatives such as the Uzbekistan-Germany Business Council.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to continue active dialogue and implement joint projects, with a visit by the German minister to Tashkent planned in the near future.
