Uzbekistan and GenCell discuss prospects for cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 January 2019, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Israel Said Rustamov met with Chief Executive Officer of GenCell Rami Reshef.

GenCell specializes in production of equipment generating electricity through patented technology of environmentally friendly chemical reaction using ammonia.

According to estimates of the company’s specialists, the cost of 1 kW / h of electricity produced at its installations is at least two times cheaper than that obtained from a diesel installation. Currently, Uzbekistan is testing equipment of GenCell.

Rami Reshef noted with satisfaction that the ongoing large-scale reforms in our country open up new opportunities for business and new technologies. He himself was convinced of this during his visit to Uzbekistan last December and negotiations at the Ministry of Innovative Development.

The head of GenCell confirmed the company’s interest in establishing long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan. Such interaction may include:

-organization of supply of innovative products to the market of Uzbekistan, as well as in general Central Asia;

- further localization of production in the territory of Uzbekistan. This takes into account the scientific and industrial potential, as well as the presence of industrial production in the country of ammonia and its low cost.

In order to create a production line in Uzbekistan with technology transfer, GenCell is ready to use its own technological and financial resources in the form of direct investments in the future.
