Uzbekistan and Croatia Discuss Expansion of Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 November, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with Refik Šabanović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to Uzbekistan, accredited with residence in Astana.
The parties discussed current issues and prospects for further developing political dialogue, as well as trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. Special attention was given to planning joint events for 2026.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue close collaboration, including mutual delegation visits, interministerial political consultations, a session of the Intergovernmental Commission, and the implementation of other initiatives aimed at expanding mutually beneficial Uzbek–Croatian ties.
