Uzbekistan and Canada hold political consultations

On the same day, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada held political consultations and exchanged opinion on bilateral relations, interaction within international organizations and actual issues of mutual interest.

It was noted that both countries pay great attention to regular Uzbek-Canadian dialogue in politics, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. The sides are interested in boosting inter-parliamentary contacts and expanding direct mutual beneficial contacts among business circles of Uzbekistan and Canada.

At the negotiations, the sides considered proposals of the sides on expanding agreement-legal framework of cooperation.
