Uzbekistan and Boos Lighting Group discuss issue of establishing production of lighting devices

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov met with the President of the Russian Corporation of Boos Lighting Group Georgy Boos in Moscow.

The main purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation with the Boos Lighting Group. Representatives of the corporation were familiarized with the favorable conditions created in Uzbekistan for investing and running a business.

Particular attention was paid to the free economic zones operating in Uzbekistan, where investors are provided with various tax, customs and other benefits, according to the Dunyo news agency.

In the course of negotiations with the president of the Boos Lighting Group, the issue of establishing capacities for production of lighting devices in Uzbekistan was discussed.

The interest of Russian partners in production of their products in Uzbekistan is understandable: the country’s economy is growing rapidly, new residential neighborhoods, industrial facilities, cultural and sports institutions are being built. This is a large-scale market, in which it is possible to successfully develop the production of competitively priced products.

Equally important is the study of the experience of the Russian corporation in creation of lighting design for various objects, including historical and cultural monuments.
