Uzbekistan and Belgium consider opening of regular and charter flights

According to the Jahon agency, the parties discussed the issues of establishing regular and charter flights from Uzbekistan.

The Belgian side expressed interest in opening air communication with Uzbek cities, as one of the priorities of the Brussels airport plan for increasing passenger traffic, including to the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, where Uzbekistan, due to its geographical location, occupies a unique place in the transit grid.

According to the Belgian experts, the opening of such an air service will qualitatively improve the quick and comfortable direction of the inhabitants of Belgium, the adjacent regions of the north of France, as well as the Netherlands and Luxembourg within the framework of business and tourist trips.

In addition, this would significantly increase the transit potential of the parties and open new opportunities for Uzbekistan in the field of freight transportation.
