Uzbekistan and Belarus Parliamentary Commission Members Discuss Expanding Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An online meeting was held between members of the Interparliamentary Commission for Cooperation between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus.

During the talks, the participants discussed strengthening friendly and trust-based relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus, further developing interparliamentary cooperation, and ensuring the implementation of agreements reached at the highest and senior levels.

Special attention was given to expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries.

The importance of holding regular Commission sessions was emphasized to address issues of trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian interaction, strengthen regional links, and support joint investment projects under parliamentary oversight.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue deepening the interparliamentary dialogue and developing cooperation at the regional level.
