Uzbekistan and Armenia Expand Tax Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The heads of the tax authorities of Uzbekistan and Armenia discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of tax administration.
The meeting between Chairman of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan Farrukh Pulatov and Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Eduard Hakobyan took place on the sidelines of the third Conference of Heads of Tax Administrations of the International Monetary Fund for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia (CCAM).
During the talks, the parties reviewed opportunities to strengthen cooperation and exchange experience in the implementation of digital solutions in tax administration.
Particular attention was given to the application of systems for identifying goods and services, as well as certain components of product tracking systems using control identification markings.
The participants also discussed the use of cash registers and electronic fiscal systems as part of efforts to improve tax control.
Following the talks, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue developing cooperation and interaction in other areas of mutual interest.
