Uzbekistan Airways to open new flights in 2017
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) is planning to open new flights to Dushanbe (Tajikistan) and Lahore (Pakistan) in 2017, the Director-General of the airline Valery Tyan said.
Tyan said that soon Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will open flight between capital cities of two countries.
He said that currently the countries are working on some issues. After solving these issues, the countries will establish air communication.
Valery Tyan said that the airline is planning to open flight on route Tashkent – Lahore (Pakistan).
He underlined that the new flight can be opened on 5 April 2017. He said that the first flight can be launched an earlier.
Uzbekiston Havo Yollari also works on increasing number of flights to China, including its industrial zone, and India.
Valery Tyan said that the airline wants to open the programme of charter flights.
