Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airways announced about the phased resumption of flights on a regular basis on the following routes:

Tashkent-Dubai-Tashkent - once a week from 4 September on Fridays;

Tashkent-Frankfurt-Tashkent - once a week from 10 September on Thursdays;

Tashkent-Almaty-Tashkent - once a week from 11 September on Fridays;

Tashkent-Bishkek-Tashkent - once a week from 14 September on Mondays;

Tashkent-Istanbul-Tashkent - 4, 7, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28 and 30 September;

Passengers planning flights to Uzbekistan on flights of Uzbekistan Airways from the above countries will have to provide a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR in English or Russian, valid no more than 72 hours before the flight. (In the absence of a negative test result, passengers will be denied check-in for their flight).

Passengers arriving on regular flights from Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, if they have a certificate with a negative test result for COVID-19, will need to go through thermometry and fill out a questionnaire with an obligation for 14 days of self-isolation:

- For citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan - at the place of permanent residence

- For foreign citizens - at the place of temporary registration in Uzbekistan.

Passengers who will have a fever or other symptoms upon arrival will be examined at the Tashkent airport. Passengers with a positive PCR test result will be hospitalized for treatment.

If the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan wish to fly to the above countries, it is necessary to independently clarify the sanitary requirements in the country of destination and, before purchasing air tickets, make sure that there are appropriate grounds giving the right to enter the above countries.

The passengers can purchase tickets for these flights on the airline’s website, through a mobile application, as well as at the nearest sales offices of Uzbekistan Airways JSC or from sales agents in the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad.
