Uzbekistan Airways’ plane makes emergency landing in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A flight on route Tashkent-Mumbai landed in Samarkand due to the deterioration of the passenger’s health.

At the ramp, the ambulance was waiting for the passenger, on which he was taken to one of the hospitals of the regional center.

The flight HY-427 Tashkent-Mumbai took off from Tashkent airport at 00:05. Soon the take-off field, when the plane was already above the territory of Afghanistan, the passenger felt bad. Assessing the state of the passenger, the crew decided to urgently land the board and deliver the passenger to the nearest airport in a major city.

Samarkand turned out to be the best option due to its proximity and the presence of large medical facilities capable of receiving a passenger.

After the passenger was hospitalized with a heart attack, the plane continued to perform the flight and arrived in Mumbai with a slight delay (at 6:15).
