Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan Airports and Uzbekiston Temir Yollari will launch flights and regular rail links between the regions of the country.

This is provided for by the decree of the President of Uzbekistan "On measures for the further development of domestic and pilgrim tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan."

The head of Uzbekistan instructed the Ministry of Transport and the State Committee for Tourism Development, jointly with Uzbekistan Airports and Uzbekiston Temir Yollari, to take measures within a month to launch flights Ferghana-Urgench-Ferghana, Termez-Urgench-Termez and Karshi-Urgench-Karshi, and also an increase in the number of railway connections Andijan-Khiva-Andijan as part of the development of domestic and pilgrim tourism.

Also, by 1 April 2021, Uzbekiston Temir Yollari will take measures to launch regular railway communications in the directions Termez-Karshi-Khiva, Khiva-Urgench-Nukus and Termez-Karshi-Samarkand.
