Uzbekistan adopts programme for capital repair of roads for 2015

The Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution “On programme of capital repair of automobile roads of general use of international and state importance for 2015” from 1 May 2015.

The document was adopted to further develop and improve automobile roads, keep them in good conditions and integrate them into international transport corridors.

According to the programme, Uzbekistan is planning to repair 111.6 km of automobile roads of general use of international and state importance in 2015.

Within the programme, Uzbekistan also plans to repair 1,312.2 meters of bridges and overpasses in 2015.

The Government plans to direct 288.8 billion soums to this programme. The resources will be allocated by the Republic Road Fund under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.
