Uzbekcharmpoyabzali produces goods for 334.84bn soums in 2014

According to the Association, the enterprises of the industry increased production of consumer goods by 7.6% to 135.56 billion soums in the reporting period.

The Association’s enterprise produced 444.4 million decimeters of leather products (+11.1%) and 7.17 million pairs of footwear (+2.4%), as well as leather products for 3.998 billion soums (+12.8%) in 2014.

The enterprises prepared 6.87 million units of raw leather in 2014, including 4.81 million units of skins of small cattle and 2.061 million units of skins of cattle.

The volume of exports of the industry in 2014 made up US$90.8 million. The enterprises of the sector attracted investments for US$11.18 million in 2014, which rose by 15.3% year-on-year.

Within the localization programme, the enterprises of the Association produced goods for 70.661 billion soums in 2014, which grew by 10.8% compared to 2013.
