Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded on March 11, 2021 in Tashkent, signed during the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Uzbekistan, to create a joint venture for the production of garments and knitwear on the territory of the Free Economic Zone "Bishkek ", from March 25 to March 29, 2021, representatives of the Uztekstilprom association and Nil Granit LLC (Samo brand) visited the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the visit, the delegation visited the Free Economic Zone "Bishkek", got acquainted with the conditions of doing business, carrying out export-import operations, inspected the relevant land plots and premises, as well as production at the enterprises of LLC Salkyn, YuiKo, HTI, Let's Go ”, with the leadership of which she held talks.

Also, meetings were held with the heads of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Agency for the Protection and Promotion of Investments, the Customs Directorate for the FEZ "Bishkek", the Directorate of the Tax Service for the FEZ "Bishkek", during which representatives of the state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic assured about the support of investors and investments into the economy of the fraternal state.

A separate meeting was held with the leadership of the Association of Light Industry Enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic "Legprom", as a result of which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.

In addition, a memorandum was signed with the trading enterprises Au Brand Textile and TAIGAN Collection on the supply of Uzbek textile and garment-knitted products in the amount of 7 and 8 million US dollars per year.
