Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of representatives of large manufacturing companies of the silk-growing industry of Uzbekistan is located in Germany, Dunyo reported.

The purpose of the trip, organized with the assistance of the embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany, is to study the market of silk products in Europe and establish cooperation with potential importers to establish supplies of Uzbek products.

As part of their stay in Germany, the Uzbek delegation will take part in the international exhibition "Domotex - 2020" in Hanover.

The annual international exhibition “Domotex” (Trade Fair for Floor Coverings) is one of the most prestigious specialized forums where leading manufacturers from all over the world present their products in such sections as handmade and machine-made carpets, various types of floor coverings, including textile.

Last year, the Domotex exhibition was visited by more than 45 thousand guests from 112 countries, and almost one and a half thousand companies from 60 countries presented their products here.

During the delegation’s stay in Germany, meetings will be held with large importers interested in importing silk products from Uzbekistan. It also provides discussion with potential investors on the implementation of joint projects in the field of silkworm and carpet weaving in various regions of Uzbekistan.
