Uzbek scientists awarded with French Academic Palms order

Prime Minister of France signed a decree on 1 January 2015 on awarding Uzbek scientists with the Academic Palms order of France as reorganization of his contribution to development of scientific cooperation between Uzbekistan and France in astronomy and astrophysics.

The French Academic Palms recognizes those who have rendered eminent service to French education and have contributed actively to the prestige of French culture. For those who are named and promoted in the Order of the French Academic Palms (l’Ordre des Palmes académiques), this esteemed distinction acknowledges their merits, talents, and exemplary activities.

The ceremony of awarding Professor Shukhrat Egamberdiev with the French Academic Palms order will be held at the French Embassy in Tashkent on 6 February 2015.
